Professional Blamers Continue to Do What They’re Best At

(Washington DC) – The 535 elected representatives of Congress continued their decades-long ineptitude campaign this week, dividing themselves over partisan lines to issue polemics and self-righteous speeches unrelated to actual issues in the American peoples’ interest.

The legislative branch of the United States has become one of the most highly paid professions over the last few years, and certainly one of the most coveted, as congressional members receive healthcare, retirement, security details on top of $200,000 in annual salaries and between $1-3 million yearly in expense accounts for doing nothing.

Qualifications for such seats are low, and only require an ability to blame the other party for all the nation’s ills.
